Today I went to the Starbucks with Monica and Diana,  in order to ask some question about the coffee that they sell in this famous coffe shop. They told us they sell a lot of kinds of coffee, but in this time of year they sell a lot of Pepermed hot Mocha caffe, but in summer they sell a lot of Iced coffee. The Starburcks is on 4147 University way NE and is opened everyday even weekends in the evening since 5 to 10 pm. If someone does not like coffee, they recomend Iced tea or just Tea.  I drank an Eggnog coffee and it was delicious!!

My visit at The AVE

When I got to Seattle it was raining a little,  but I wanted to know where I was, so I decided to go out around near the University of Washington and I asked to my host where I could start and she recomended a lot, University way called The Ave.
The Ave is a long street with a lot of stores, since foods to sport clothes.
When I was in class at the University of Washington my teacher told us we had to ask some questions in the stores of the Ave, so we had to work in groups in order to practice our English with native people. I worked with two friends, Linda and Juan Carlos.
The first store we visited was a Vietnamese restaurant, the person who answered our question named Kevin, and he told us they sell rice noodle soup, the store' s special and they  get their suplies in differents stores like QFC store, their bussines hour are from 10:30 to 22:00 and they open every day.
The other store we asked was a clothing store, named American Apparel, the girl who ansewered our question was very friendly and her name is Tai, she told us they sell a lot of clothes but the sweat shirt is the most cloths than they have ever sold in this season, and its cost is $50.00 dlls, they open every day since 10 to 9 pm, but in Sunday since 12 to 8 pm. The store is on the corner of 45th street and Uninersity Ave.
We also went to The One Dollar Tree, there is everything a dollar, we can find a lot of things as example, foods, groceries, etc. So we asked a girl who work there about where they can get all these things,  and she told us they have several housings; The One Dollar Tree is on Unisersity Ave, in front of Book store.

My Biography

My biography
 by Francisco Javier Manriquez Rojas

I was born in Cuautitlan Mexico in October 10, 1972. When I was 5 years old I studied at Filiberto Gomez Garden School; I studied there for about 2 years, then I studied at Alfredo del Mazo Elementary school for about 6 years. In this time, I had a lot of friends; most of them are my friends still. When I was in the elementary school I played soccer on a team called "Tlacuachines"  and I've never understood why we named it that.

Later I studied at the high school, and when I got there I decided to study medicine; then I knew I had to put all my attention in Biology and it was very difficult for me, but math was very interesting to me. Then I had to visit a beer factory, and I was impressed with the process, and I asked about the person who controlled that and they said to me "Biochemistry engineering", and that is why I'm Biochemistry engineer.

I started working in the industry for about 9 years, while I was working I got married, and when I was 27 years old I had my first child, 3 years later the other one. When I was at the industry I worked every day, even holidays! When I moved to Tecamac I met a teacher of "Universidad Tecnologica de Tecamac" and he told me if I would like to teach there and I thought it would be a good idea so I agreed. Since then I'm a teacher of fermentative process at "Universidad Tecnologica de Tecamac" and I enjoy it.
